CTET July 2023 (CBSE) - Online Application Form

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the official notification regarding the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2023 on its official website. 

CBSE will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in the month of July, 2023 to August, 2023, at various examination centres spread across the country. Candidates who want to pursue teaching in school level as their profession must appear and qualify in CTET . Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here .

      CTET (CBSE) 2023 Notification Details

    Name of Exam: Central Teacher Eligibility Test, July 2023

    Edition: 17th Edition

    Name of Board: Central Board of Secondary Education

    Type of Exam: Computer Based Test

    Date of Exam: This information will be on the admit card.

    Age Limit: Candidates who are above 18 years of age will be able to submit their online applications for CTET.

      CTET (CBSE) 2023 Educational Qualifications

    Primary Level (Class I to V)

    Candidates need to fulfil any one of the following qualifications.

    • Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
    • Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
    • Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
    • Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
    • Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

    Secondary Level (Class VI to VIII)

    Candidates need to fulfil any one of the following qualifications.

    • Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
    • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
    • Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
    • Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
    • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
    • Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.

    • General Rs.1000/- (One Paper) Rs.1200/- (Both Paper)
    • OBC Rs.1000/- (One Paper) Rs.1200/- (Both Paper)
    • ST         Rs.500/- (One Paper) Rs.600/- (Both Paper)
    • SC         Rs.500/- (One Paper) Rs.600/- (Both Paper)
    • PWD Rs.500/- (One Paper) Rs.600/- (Both Paper)

      How to Apply for CTET (CBSE) 2023 ?

    1. Scroll down, and check the Important Link section.
    2. Click on the Online Application Link.
    3. Now, an official web portal will load in the new tab of your browser.
    4. In that portal, you will get the option to register yourself.
    5. If you are not already registered then complete your registration process.
    6. Now, login with your registered email address and password.
    7. Click on Current Opportunities.
    8. Click on Agniveer (SSR) option.
    9. Fill all the asked details carefully.
    10. Before clicking on the submit button, ensure all the details are correct.
    11. Now, upload all required documents in the specified file types and sizes.
    12. After that pay the Examination Fee.
    13. At the end, submit your application.
    14. Also, you will receive an acknowledgement copy of your submission.
    15. Keep that acknowledgement copy for future use.
