Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has released the official notification of Assam Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) 2023. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online from 22nd May 2023 to 12th June 2023.
Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) is an entrance exam conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University for admission into 1st Semester Class of MCA Programme in the colleges of the State of Assam including Assam Engineering College, Guwahati, Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat and Girijananda Institute of Management and Technology, Guwahati for the session 2023-2024. This year examination will be held on July 2nd, 2023.
- Starting date: 22nd May 2023
- Last Date: 12th June 2023
- Issue of admit cards: From 19th June 2023 to 28th June 2023
- Date of examination: 2nd July 2023,
- Timing of examination: 11:00 a.m.-02:00 p.m.
- Results: Within 10 days of conduct of examination
Eligibility Criteria for Assam JMEE 2023
- The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks.
OR
- The candidate must have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) or the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) with a minimum of 60% marks.
Syllabus for Assam JMEE 2023
- Mathematics: Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics
- Logical Reasoning and Computer Fundamentals: Boolean Algebra, Logic Gates, Data Structures, Algorithms, Programming Languages
- English Language and Communication Skills: Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension
Exam Pattern for Assam JMEE 2023
- The exam will be a pen-paper based test.
- The exam will be of 3 hours duration.
- The exam will consist of 100 multiple choice questions.
- Each question will carry 1 mark.
Application Fee for Assam JMEE 2023
- An Application Fee of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees Fifteen Hundred only) is to be paid online using “HDFC Collect Now” which facilitates payment through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. Assam Science and Technology University shall not accept hard copy of the Application and any other documents. Examination fee, once paid, is not refundable.
- Candidates must make successful online fee payment within the last date of submission of online applications. Otherwise his/her candidature will not be considered for examination. No communication regarding failure of payment, received after the last date of submission of online applications, will be entertained.
